This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop valuable skills in food service, customer interaction, and team collaboration within a vibrant restaurant setting. Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments with accuracy and professionalism. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring proper food handling procedures. Assist in food preparation tasks including cooking, assembling sandwiches or meals, and managing inventory levels. Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing are essential. Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or customer service roles will help you succeed in this position. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is advantageous. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining quality service.
