Duties Assemble sandwiches and other menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency in presentation and portion sizes. Manage food service customer order processing, including taking orders, upselling menu items. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food handling practices, and safety guidelines throughout your shift. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, refrigerators, and other food preparation tools. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions accurately, and manage retail sales transactions with professionalism. Support food safety management by following sanitation procedures, monitoring food storage temperatures, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Contribute to a team-oriented environment by collaborating with coworkers to meet service goals during busy hours. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly attitude. Basic math skills for cash handling, transaction processing, and measuring ingredients accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or restaurant setting. Retail or grocery store experience can be beneficial for understanding product handling and customer interactions.
