Duties Prepare a variety of sandwiches with precision, creativity, and efficiency, ensuring each order meets quality standards. Operate POS systemto process food orders, handle cash transactions, and manage retail sales accurately. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols throughout your shift. Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, ovens, grills, and other food preparation tools. Ensure timely delivery of orders by coordinating with team members and managing time effectively during busy periods. Uphold food handling standards, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Help with cleaning when needed Requirements Proven experience as a sandwich maker or in a similar quick service or fast food restaurant role. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS system for processing transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently while maintaining quality. Demonstrated ability in customer service, including serving guests with a friendly attitude and addressing their needs promptly. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments, and managing register operations smoothly. Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace at all times. Retail sales experience or grocery store background is a plus but not required.
