In this part-time role, you will greet our guests, take custom hoagie and sandwich orders, build sandwiches to perfection, and hand them off directly to customers. If you are a high-energy person who loves great food and fast-paced teamwork, we want you at Big Dawgs!

11:00 AM - 5:00
PM Training Schedule :
Must be available for a mandatory 2-week training period , running Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM . Regular midday shifts begin after training is complete.
Pay :
$10.50 per hour + tips

Key Responsibilities Customer Service :
Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and handle cash/card payments at the register.
Food Preparation :
Construct high-quality hoagies and prep ingredients for our signature cheesesteaks quickly and accurately.
Prep Work :
Slice meats and cheeses, chop fresh vegetables, and restock the sandwich line before and during the lunch rush.
Food Safety :
Maintain a clean, sanitized workstation and follow all food safety and health department guidelines.
Store Upkeep :
Keep the counter and dining area clean, wash dishes, and assist the team with mid-day cleaning tasks.
Skills and Qualifications Age Requirement :
Must be 18 years or older to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment (like slicers).
Availability :
Ability to attend the evening training sessions (6 PM - 9 PM) for the first two weeks. Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during the lunch rush. Basic math and cash-handling skills for operating the register. Reliability to consistently work the 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift. Prior food service experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person! Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the 6-hour shift. Comfortable working around hot grills, commercial slicers, and sharp knives. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (e.g., boxes of bread or produce).
