Job Description

KENT WORLDWIDE
™ is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Food Service Associate to help deliver exceptional hospitality experiences across the KENT family of companies . In this role, you will support food preparation, event execution, and kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and service. This position will primarily support events at both the KENT Conference Center and KENT Corporation Headquarters in Muscatine, working as part of a collaborative team focused on creating outstanding experiences for employees, customers, and guests. Join KENT and help create exceptional experiences that bring people together. This position is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, Iowa.
Hours:
Availability on an as-needed basis, typically around 15-20 hours per week with hours fluctuating based on event schedules and needs.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, present, and serve high-quality food and beverage offerings while following established recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines. Support day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory handling, product storage, and sanitation practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout kitchen, storage, and conference center spaces. Assist with the setup and execution of meetings, training sessions, and special events at the KENT Conference Center and KENT Headquarters. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance service, efficiency, and guest experiences.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license required. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, managers, and guests. Previous food service, hospitality, restaurant, or catering experience preferred. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations preferred; food safety certifications are a plus. TRAVEL Travel within Muscatine if needed for deliveries to other Kent facilities #KSS
