We have been voted Quad Cities #1 Meat Market for several years. We are seeking a motivated and friendly individual to join our team. Positions are available in our Milan, Illinois store location (Immediately), our Milan store grilling cookout, ), and our Freight House Farmers Market booth in Davenport, Iowa. Meatheads team members are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for food, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Our operating hours are perfect for individuals looking for a position working between 7am and 6pm. Responsibilities Greet customers and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed. Package and label products efficiently and accurately. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe shopping environment. Maintain cleaning and safety standards in compliance with Meatheads Meat Market and the Illinois Department of Health policies. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills is essential.
