Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve deli items according to customer requests and company standards
- Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and restock deli products as needed
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department
- Food Handler's Certificate required
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Excellent customer service skills, including effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of sanitation guidelines and ability to maintain a clean work area
