11:30am-8:00pm OR 3:00pm-8:00pm = 12-24 hours per weekWORK LOCATION
Arnett HospitalKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for a diverse customer base. The customer base includes patients, family members, physicians, other employees and the public. The incumbent is responsible for quick, accurate, and courteous service, and resolution of customer concerns. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment. Prints, reviews, and verifies food and nutrition orders for accuracy and completeness Stocks and maintains the nutrition pantry/room, ensuring supplies are well organized and readily available. Gathers and "shops" for food, beverages, and related supplies throughout the hospital to fulfill daily needs.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred. No experience is required. Prior food service experience is preferred. Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment. Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc. Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption. Physical requirements to include reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 20 lbs. or more, up to 50 of the time.
