Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements using reservation systems like OpenTable. Take and process orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, including food, beverages, and retail items. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and cocktail options to enhance guest experience through upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Handle cash transactions and process sales accurately, including credit card payments and cash handling procedures. Assist with food handling, sanitation, and bussing duties to ensure a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff. Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service etiquette. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking between serving tables and processing transactions. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales efficiently. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience with food industry operations such as food preparation, serving, bussing, cashiering, and alcohol service is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a lively nightlife or restaurant setting.
