The candidate will help to create a welcoming atmosphere while managing customer orders and ensuring smooth operations at the counter. This is a year round position. Nights and weekends are required. This is a tipped position, averaging $35 to $40 per hour in the summer and $25 to $30 in the winter. Please respond with work experience and the best day and time to meet. We are looking for a friendly and efficient Restaurant Counter Help to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, . Responsibilities Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and friendly service. Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling menu items Manage cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and handle cash or card payments efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitizing counters, utensils, and kitchen equipment regularly. Upsell menu items by engaging customers with product knowledge to enhance sales opportunities. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a positive guest experience. Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
