Backyard Amusements is hiring Event Rental Team Members to support our busy event season. This position includes working as an Event Helper, Event Attendant, Warehouse Staff Member, or a combination of these roles depending on experience, and availability. Event Rental Team Members assist with event setups, breakdowns, equipment preparation, warehouse organization, attraction supervision, guest assistance, and customer service. This is a hands-on event rental position . Team members will load and unload equipment, help set up inflatables, tables, chairs, tents, games, and concessions, work outdoors in different weather conditions , supervise attractions, assist guests, clean equipment, and help keep the warehouse organized. Applicants should be dependable, professional, comfortable working around children and families, and willing to stay active throughout the shift. Job Duties Setup Crew Duties Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Help set up and break down inflatables, tents, tables, chairs, games, concessions, and other event rental equipment. Follow instructions from Delivery Drivers, Crew Leads, Supervisors, and Management. Help keep equipment organized before, during, and after events. Assist with securing equipment safely during setup and breakdown. Report damaged, dirty, missing, or unsafe equipment to a supervisor. Maintain a clean and professional work area. Event Attendant Duties Supervise assigned attractions during events. Enforce safety rules and usage guidelines. Assist children, families, and guests with safe participation. Monitor guest behavior and stop unsafe activity when necessary. Communicate professionally with customers, parents, event staff, and coworkers. Keep the assigned attraction area clean, organized, and safe. Report customer concerns, safety concerns, or equipment issues to management. Represent Backyard Amusements in a friendly and professional manner. Warehouse Duties Clean, dry, roll, and organize inflatables. Clean tables, chairs, games, concessions, and other rental equipment. Load and stage equipment for upcoming events. Unload returned equipment and place items in the proper warehouse location. Assist with inventory checks and equipment counts. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Assist with basic repairs, maintenance, and equipment preparation under supervision. Requirements Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be available to work weekends . Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and longer shifts during busy seasons. Must be able to perform physical labor . Must be able to follow directions and work well with a team. Must be comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions. Must be able to communicate respectfully with customers and coworkers. Experience in events, customer service, warehouse work, childcare, camps, recreation, moving, landscaping, or labor is helpful but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 75+ pounds with or without assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and carry equipment . Ability to work outdoors for extended periods. Ability to assist with moving large or heavy rental items. Ability to stand for long periods when assigned as an Event Attendant.

Pay:

$16.75 - $18.00 per hour
