• Restocker & Cleaning Team Member — Short-Term Rental Hospitality

• Kalamazoo Cleaners LLC supports a high-volume short-term rental portfolio across the Kalamazoo area. We're hiring a sharp, detail-oriented Restocker & Cleaning Team Member to help get every property guest-ready before check-in.
• What You'll Do

Restocking:

• Report to our office at 9:45 AM on turn days to pick up supplies
• Visit assigned properties between guest stays and restock essentials: toilet paper, paper towels, beverages, coffee items, welcome bucket contents, baby items, and breakfast items
• Report any damage, missing items, or low inventory to the office same day Outdoor (seasonal — spring through fall):
• Sweep and tidy front porches and back decks
• Wipe down and clean grills; check propane levels and flag tanks that need swapping
• Straighten, arrange, and clean outdoor seating and patio furniture
• Walk the exterior and pick up debris, trash, or items left behind
• Winter snow and ice removal is handled by a separate team

Cleaning Team:

• Work alongside our cleaning crew to finish living rooms, dining rooms, and sitting areas
• Dust, wipe surfaces, straighten furnishings, and stage each space to our standard
• Jump in where the team needs support to hit check-in on time
• Schedule
• Shifts start at 9:45 AM sharp on turn days and always wrap by 4:00 PM
• Requires open availability between 9:45 AM and 4:00 PM, seven days a week
• You will not work every day — turn days vary with booking volume
• Typical week: ~15-20 hours
• Daytime only. No evenings, no overnights.
• Requirements
• 18+ with a valid Michigan driver's license, clean driving record, and your own reliable, insured vehicle. Our properties are concentrated between Kalamazoo and Portage — short routes, minimal drive time.
• Must pass a background check — you'll have access to guest properties
• Smartphone required — scheduling and coordination run through text and GroupMe
• Hospitality-minded with a high personal standard for cleanliness
• Punctual, dependable, and a strong team player
• Comfortable lifting and carrying supply totes and moving outdoor furniture
• Compensation & Perks
• $25/hr, W-2 employee — rate is inclusive of vehicle use. Routes are short and local; mileage is not separately reimbursed.
