Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety guidelines to ensure quality standards are met. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling accurately. Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience, and manage food service customer order processing seamlessly. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper kitchen equipment handling. Serve customers promptly at the counter or drive-thru, providing friendly assistance while managing multiple tasks in a quick service environment. Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Support food safety management by following sanitation procedures, proper food handling practices, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Experience Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; familiarity with food industry standards is a plus. Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining high-quality service standards. Proven customer service skills with an energetic attitude that fosters positive guest interactions. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management. Experience with retail sales transactions or grocery store operations is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn POS systems like Aloha or Micros is essential.
