3007324106-2 Apply for this job now Job Description GFL Environmental is seeking a reliable Driver-Front End to safely operate front-end commercial waste collection trucks. In this role, you'll complete assigned routes, collect solid waste and recyclables from commercial customers, and ensure accurate, timely service. Responsibilities include conducting pre/post-trip inspections, following safety and DOT regulations, documenting services, and communicating with dispatch and customers. You'll work in a physically active, outdoor environment while supporting sustainable waste management in your community and contributing to a team-focused, safety-first culture with growth opportunities. Responsibilities Operate front-end commercial waste collection trucks on assigned routes Collect and empty waste and recycling containers from commercial customers Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues Follow all DOT, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or service issues Document services performed and maintain required logs and records Provide courteous customer service at customer locations Assist with basic truck cleaning and minor maintenance checks Required Skills Commercial truck driving Front-end loader operation Route navigation Vehicle inspection and maintenance Time management Safety compliance Load securement Customer service Recordkeeping and log management Basic mechanical aptitude
