Big Belly Deli is hiring! We're a locally owned, family-style deli looking to add another reliable, outgoing person to our crew as we expand our hours. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working with customers and can start primarily in the front of house , taking orders, helping customers, running food, keeping things stocked and helping wherever needed. Once you're comfortable, we'd like to cross-train you in the kitchen as well. (Prefer working in the kitchen? Feel free to apply—we're always open to finding the right fit for our team!) We're a small team, so we don't really operate with a "that's not my job" mentality. Everyone works together to keep things moving, whether that means helping a customer, stocking, cleaning, prepping food or jumping in to help someone who is busy. What we're looking for: Friendly and comfortable talking with customers Dependable and shows up ready to work Able to work at a good pace during busy lunch rushes Willing to learn both front-of-house and kitchen responsibilities Works well as part of a close-knit team Takes initiative and notices what needs to be done Restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person Weekend availability is important Ability to have a flexible start time is a plus What you'll be doing: Taking customer orders and working the register Helping customers and running food Stocking and keeping the front organized Cleaning and maintaining the restaurant throughout the shift Helping with food prep and kitchen duties as you are trained Working with the rest of the crew to make sure everything gets done before the shift ends Why work at Big Belly Deli?
