Position OverviewWe are looking for a friendly, reliable Deli Clerk to join our small team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in food preparation, and helps create a clean, welcoming environment for customers. Previous food service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates. Responsibilities Prepare deli foods, sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with orders and product questions Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and accurately process cash, credit, and other payments Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and display cases Restock products and monitor inventory levels as needed Follow food safety and handling procedures at all times Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Food preparation and food handling experience preferred Food service experience is a plus Basic cash handling experience Basic math skills for transactions and order accuracy Ability to operate or learn POS systems Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a small team Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed What We Offer Flexible scheduling Supportive small-team environment Training and growth opportunities Competitive pay based on experience Apply today to join our team and help provide outstanding food and customer service experiences.
