The Play Team Member is responsible for interacting with and ensuring the safety of the children while Club members are using the facility. You are responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children. You are to come up with creative and educational activities, while maintaining a clean environment for the children. Attentive Team-oriented Flexible Dedicated Adaptable EmpatheticEssential Functions & Responsibilitieso Ensure childrens safety at all timeso Encourage a healthy active lifestyle through appropriate play, games and interactiono Maintain a clean, sanitized and healthy environment at ALL timeso clean toys, play area, restrooms, etc. throughout every dayo Interact and greet children by name, comfort them throughout their visito Interact with parents/caregivers: greet by name and give feedback on childrens behavioro Must maintain patience and common sense with children in the facilityo Ability to mediate and manage conflict effectively among childreno Initiate parent paging, when necessaryo Must be able to document and report basic incidents in writingo Ensure parents complete all necessary paperwork according to procedureso Diligently monitor child drop off and pick up

#1 PRIORITYQualificationso Must have experience working with children ages 10 months to 12 years of ageo Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and writteno Must have a valid CPR/AED certification, including infant and child, on your first day of employment and maintain valid certification throughout employmento Must adhere to all safety rules and guidelines and take necessary precautions to ensure safety of all children in the Kids Clubo PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other productsPhysical Requirementso Must be able to sit for extended periodso Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 poundso Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch
