We are looking for an experienced Count Team Member to assist with conducting the Drop and Count of slot machine bill validator funds (no coin) collection from all drop boxes from the gaming floor; placing the drop boxes on the designated cart, securing the cart for transport from the casino floor to the count room. Also, in the same workday shift, responsible for ensuring the counting of all the currency and tickets from each drop box.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Must be able to push/pull at least 100 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, if necessary.
MANUAL LABOR
Responsibilities:
1. Perform daily drop and count procedures of bill validator funds collection from all drop boxes located throughout the gaming floor. 2. Accurately record and document all cash and coin counts in accordance with established procedures. 3. Safeguard and maintain the integrity of all funds during the drop and count process. 4. Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and accurate processing of funds. 5. Adhere to strict regulatory and company guidelines regarding cash handling and reporting. 6. Assist in resolving any discrepancies or variances identified during the drop and count process. 7. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment. 8. Collaborate with other departments, such as security and finance, to ensure seamless operations and communication. 9. Uphold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Previous experience in a cash handling or counting role is preferred. 3. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate and efficient calculations. 4. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. 6. Proficient in basic computer skills, such as data entry and Excel spreadsheets. 7. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors. 8. Integrity and trustworthiness in handling large amounts of cash. 9. Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. 10. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
