Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve deli items including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches in accordance with food safety standards. Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and answering questions regarding products. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Restock shelves and display cases as needed to ensure product availability. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or issues promptly. Requirements Previous experience in food service or bagel store environments is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team-oriented setting.
