Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sandwich Maker / POS (Point of Sale) Associate to join our vibrant food service team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, crafting delicious sandwiches with precision and care while efficiently managing customer transactions using various POS systems. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will help create a memorable experience for every guest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills, master POS operations, and thrive in a lively food industry setting. Duties Prepare a variety of sandwiches and related menu items following established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and give accurate change Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring food safety standards are met Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve the customer experience by promoting specials or add-ons Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, quick service, or fast-food restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred Strong skills in food handling, sanitation, and safety management Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is a plus but not required Food industry knowledge including food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering quality food and exceptional service.
