Daytime Carhop

Duties Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Serve food promptly from the kitchen to parked cars or designated dining areas, ensuring proper presentation and food safety standards are met. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing clear receipts and change. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic assembly or garnishing of menu items to ensure quality presentation. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables, cleaning trays, and ensuring the food service area complies with health regulations. Upsell menu items by recommending popular or new products to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as food delivery, customer inquiries, and order accuracy. Requirements Prior experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably outdoors in various weather conditions, and lift moderate loads when necessary. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing sales transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires quick thinking and effective time management.
