Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process customer transactions swiftly and securely Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and upsell items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods with precision and confidence Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and maintaining a friendly demeanor Support inventory management through stocking and inventory checks to ensure product availability Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Prior supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and sales calculations Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for serving diverse customers Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to engage shoppers Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail sales environments Excellent customer service skills combined with active listening and problem-solving abilities Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive attitude Basic math skills for balancing registers and handling transactions efficiently Professional phone etiquette for clear communication with customers and team members Join us as a Cashier and become an essential part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
