Fairways Cantina is looking for a new staff member to join the team. We're a small but mighty taqueria that services golfers and the local community alike. We pride ourselves on maintaining a relaxed environment with some of the best margaritas and tacos in town. We're looking for a new member of staff with 2

• 4 shifts expected each week. Shifts will primarily be morning (6:30am
• 2pm) or night (2pm to 10pm).

Occasional banquet shifts will be available depending on event activity. The position is remunerated via an hourly rate of $7.25 + Tips. We guarantee wages to a minimum of $17 up to $21, pursuant on promotions. We are a seasonal business being so closely tied to golf operations. In the warmer months staff exceed the guaranteed wage, during the winter it acts as a great buffer to the decline in business. Examples of daily tasks

• Operate POS, navigate customer ordering and distribute prepared food using our buzzer system
• Maintain cleanliness and order on the floor of the restaurant. Regularly stepping out from the counter to clean tables, rearrange furniture and empty bus tubs.
• Stock, prepare and serve a range of alcoholic beverages.
• Perform open and closing duties thoroughly, working with colleagues to present the restaurant in its best light.

Previous experience within a golf club organisation is a plus.

TABC & Texas Food Handlers certification required.
