Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Prep-Cook and Clerk, where you'll play a vital role in delivering nutritious, delicious meals while ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This energetic position combines food preparation, culinary support, and clerical duties to create a welcoming and efficient environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us serve our community with excellence, fostering a positive dining experience for all. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in meal assembly according to menu specifications, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation Handle food safety protocols by maintaining proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices throughout the kitchen Support cooking activities by utilizing knife skills and culinary techniques to assist with meal preparation and cooking processes Assist with menu planning by organizing ingredients and supplies needed for daily service Serve meals efficiently to residents or customers, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations Support catering events or special meal services by preparing bulk quantities and managing food presentation Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety and handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation tasks Background in restaurant or kitchen environments is highly desirable Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting Join us to be part of a team dedicated to nourishing our community with passion and professionalism!
