Job Description
Education 2 Impact (e2i) offers students the opportunity to work within interdisciplinary teams while gaining paid, hands-on experience. Projects are provided by companies or entrepreneurial UVU students, and teams are assembled to work under the guidance of a student project manager to complete these projects—mirroring real-world industry practices. Each project typically lasts between 8 and 12 weeks, giving team members a condensed, high-impact professional experience. The e2i program is seeking motivated Marketing Team Members to join our Project Team. This posting covers a range of marketing functions, including strategy and campaign planning, branding, SEO, and social media. As part of the supplemental questions below, you will have the opportunity to indicate your interest and skill level in each area so we can match you to the project and role that best fits your strengths. As a Marketing Team Member, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary group of students, contribute to team and client meetings, and work toward delivering real-world results. Projects run on an 8- to 12-week cycle, requiring approximately 6 to 10 hours of work per week. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure that projects are completed to industry standards, and you will be paid $15 per hour. Conduct research and audits (audience, brand, market, and/or website) relevant to the assigned project to inform data-driven marketing recommendations. Develop and execute marketing deliverables aligned with project goals and the 8-12-week project timeline. Analyze relevant performance data (e.g., analytics, engagement, or audience metrics) to measure impact and refine recommendations. Adapt work to align with UVU and/or client brand and asset guidelines. Produce polished, professional deliverables (e.g., strategy documents, brand assets, content, or reports) suitable for hand-off to the client upon project completion. Must be a current UVU student, preferably studying Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Management, Graphic Design, Communication, or a related field. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Foundational knowledge in one or more of the following: marketing strategy and campaign planning, branding, SEO, or social media. Comfortable working within established brand guidelines and adapting recommendations accordingly. Ability to work in a team setting. Strong collaboration with students from other disciplines. Strong discipline, flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
