Sign on bonus eligible: $2,000 per applicable guidelines (external hires only) The Food Services Associate I supports food service operations, assists with tasks, and ensures quality service and problem resolution. Day shift, every other weekend. The Food Services Associate I Communication commonly occurs with persons who have similar or different functions inside or outside the organization. Work involves application of basic knowledge and advanced skills or patient care. Duties may be complex and non-routine. Resolves most issues and problems but refers the most complex issues and problems to supervisor. Under general supervision. Impact of work is limited to department or service line. Extensive customer, patient, client, and clinical team interactions.
What We Require:
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
None. SERV-Safe Certification or equivalent certification from the Virginia Health Department or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire date required for employees deemed in charge of departmental operations. Licensure, Certification, and/or
Registration:
Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Other Minimum Qualifications:
Position is deemed ˜emergency staff during emergency weather conditions. May be reqired to travel to other Carilion work sites to meet staffing needs. Compensation Range:
$16.18 - $22.65 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
