Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Opener/Sandwich Artist/Closer, where you will be the face of our fast-paced food service operation! Duties Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare fresh sandwiches and other menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including slicers, ovens, and food prep tools. Manage cash register transactions, process payments, and handle cash handling with accuracy during retail sales. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following sanitation protocols and ensuring all food handling standards are met. Close shifts by balancing cash drawers, restocking supplies, cleaning work areas, and preparing the station for the next team member. Requirements Prior food service experience or quick service & fast food restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners! Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and register operations. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and operate kitchen equipment safely. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes guests feel valued. Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and maintaining a clean workspace at all times. Experience in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and cash register operations will be advantageous.
