Job Description
Culinary Team Member Burke Mountain Academy Burke Mountain Academy (BMA), an elite ski academy located in East Burke, VT, seeks a highly organized culinary team member to support the school's Dining Hall operations for the 2026-27 school year. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, this position would focus on lunch and dinner, five days per week, totaling roughly 40 hours. Responsibilities Execute buffet-style service for approximately 100 students and staff Bulk production/preparation of scratch-cooked meals and occasional bakery products Interfacing with students and staff regarding dietary needs/restrictions Requirements Prior scratch cooking experience is a must Catering/bulk production/institutional experience preferred Ability to function independently Polite demeanor and ability to interface with staff/students in a professional manner Background check Compensation/Benefits $53000/yr salary + health/retirement benefits Additional per diem compensation for mountain bike camps we host during the month of July Very substantial quantities of PTO during school breaks & ski camps.
