Job Description

PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES
The Assembly Team Member assembles, labels, and packs protective eyewear kits for the fulfillment of Customer Service orders.
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages. Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes. Notify supervisor of any material issues. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Ability to prepare and assemble units. Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas as needed. Place parts in a specified relationship to each other. Clips, snaps or otherwise attaches parts together. Works on a line where tasks vary as different models of product moves along line. Conduct in-process inspection of lenses and other eyewear components for quality defects. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements Must be able to read and understand the production schedule. Performs repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce eyewear products. U.S. Government Authorization required. Work environment ( include physical requirements ) The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, talk and hear. Employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally required to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds. Specific visions abilities are required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. Latex product used.
