GoodMart is hiring Front-of-House Team Members to join our crew in Ballard. From the team behind Local Tide in Fremont, GoodMart brings our love of Pacific Northwest seafood and warm, approachable hospitality to a new fast casual seafood restaurant.
We re looking for people who enjoy making guests feel welcome, care about the details, and bring a team-first attitude. You ll work across front-of-house roles greeting guests, guiding them through our offerings, taking orders, and packing takeout. As part of a new shop, you ll help shape the guest experience and build the everyday connections that make a neighborhood spot feel like home.
Core ResponsibilitiesMake guests feel welcome. Greet people warmly, help them explore our menu and market offerings, and communicate clearly about availability and wait times.
Keep service moving. Take accurate orders, process payments, and organize takeaway orders with care.
Work together. Communicate with the kitchen and fellow team members to keep orders accurate and service running smoothly.
Care for the shop. Keep the counter, dining area, displays, and service stations clean, organized, and stocked.
Pitch in and adapt. Learn different roles, support your teammates, and help refine daily routines as we settle into our new space.

The ability to stay organized, calm, and attentive during busy service.
An interest in food, hospitality, and Pacific Northwest ingredients.
Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
Flexibility to work a mix of shifts, including weekends.
A food handler card, or willingness to obtain one before your first shift.
