• Sales & Hospitality Wine Server Ringgold, GA | Full-Time or Part-Time Georgia Winery is hiring Sales & Hospitality Wine Servers for our main winery location in Ringgold, GA.

We are a family-owned winery since 1983 , offering handcrafted wines, fresh pizza, winery tours, events, and retail experiences both in-store and online. We're looking for friendly, outgoing, sales-minded people who love talking with guests, working in a fast-paced environment, and creating memorable experiences. About the Role As a Sales & Hospitality Wine Server, you will guide guests through their entire Georgia Winery experience — from greeting and tastings to wine, pizza, and retail sales. This is a guest-facing, sales-driven position that requires confidence, energy, and professionalism. You will be cross-trained in multiple positions throughout the winery, including: Wine Bar Server

• hosting tastings, educating guests about wines, making recommendations, and driving wine sales.

Greeter / Floor

Host

• welcoming guests, managing guest flow, assisting with seating, answering questions, and supporting the overall customer experience. Bar Support (Barback)
• assisting with transactions, restocking inventory, preparing supplies, supporting food service, and helping maintain a clean and organized operation. Pinsa Pizza Service
• operating the pizza station, preparing food, assembling and baking pinsas, washing dishes, cleaning, and assisting guests with food orders. Offsite Tasting Booth (Rock City)
• operating the tasting booth independently, engaging with guests, conducting wine tastings, processing sales, maintaining inventory, and representing Georgia Winery professionally without direct supervision. Winery Tours & Events
• assisting with public events, private events, winery tours, educational experiences, setup, breakdown, and guest engagement activities. Bottling & Production Support
• assisting with bottling operations, labeling, packaging, warehouse organization, inventory movement, and other production-related tasks as assigned.

What You'll Do Create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest Host wine tastings and confidently discuss wine styles, pairings, and winery history Encourage tastings, bottle sales, wine club memberships, and events Upsell wine, pizza, merchandise, flights, and experiences Accurately process POS transactions, memberships, and retail sales Assist with stocking, cleaning, and maintaining a polished tasting room Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Help with special events and winery promotions What We're Looking For Strong people skills — friendly, approachable, confident, and engaging A sales mindset — enjoys encouraging purchases and building relationships Ability to multitask and work independently Clear communication — able to speak clearly and confidently (yes, even over pizza ovens) Strong work ethic and attention to detail Comfortable learning wine knowledge (no prior wine experience required) Food service, retail, or hospitality experience preferred Keys to Success in This Role Smile, engage, and talk to everyone Serve multiple guests efficiently while maintaining great service Know when to move service quickly and when to slow down Follow all operational procedures and ask questions when unsure Stay focused in your assigned position to keep service flowing Build relationships that turn first-time guests into repeat customers Physical & Schedule Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (cases of wine) Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours Flexible schedule required Weekends, holidays, and evenings required Must be at least 21 years old Reliable transportation required Professional appearance and demeanor

Note:

Offsite tasting booth at Rock City is outdoors. Seasonal heating and cooling accommodations are provided. Pay & Perks Base pay: $12/hour

Tips:

Average $10/hour (cash + credit card tips) Typical hourly range: $19

Paid Time Off:
