Job Description
We are hiring an A.M. Baker (bake-off) and bakery production. This is a phenomenal entry level opportunity to join our 'ohana. We are looking for a highly motivated person to add to our small, fun, and dedicated team as a production associate for our bakery. Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to learn quickly is a must! The position will involve more production work than baking. We have a small, close-knit team, so it's important that you work well in a team setting as well as independently. You must be able to follow direction and stick to the recipes. Good work environment where everyone works well together and supports one another. Pay is negotiable based on experience.
Hours:
2:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. onFridays and Saturdays Job Description:
Our Bakery Production Associate is an entry-level role in our bakery and a valuable member of the production team focused on safely and consistently producing the highest quality product possible for customers. Perform various duties including, but not limited to; safe operation of high-powered machinery, packaging products, mixing ingredients, and moving and/or stacking materials and equipment used in the production of fresh baked products. Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and Superior quality standards.What we need from you:
At least 18 years of age, due to operation of bakery equipment. Pursuant to § 12 - 25- 48, HI Child Labor Laws.- Ability to work early shifts as early as 3 A.M.
- Reliable
- 1 year of prior experience in culinary and /or food manufacturing is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
- Ability to read and understand recipes and measuring quantities
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Comfortable in a warm working environment
- Basic math and communication skills
- A good attitude!
- Competitive in a friendly team atmosphere
- Cognizant of workflow to increase efficiency
- Willingness to work hard in a physically demanding position (on your feet for long periods)
