Job Description
Gem State Staffing-Payette is now accepting applications for Food Production! These long-term positions are located in the Ontario/Fruitland/Payette area, and are a great way to either gain experience or continue your career as an experienced individual. Job Description In this role, you will assist with preparing, processing, packaging, and inspecting food products while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced setting, follow food safety and quality standards, and perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods. Previous production or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. Job duties include but are not limited to: Packaging support Repackaging (strip out of finished product for repackaging into different size containers) Clean-up, sanitation and general housekeeping of work areas Product inspection for foreign materials and quality standards Small batch production support, set-up and tear-down of processing equipment Requirements Desire and ability to maintain full-time work schedule Ability to adhere to company standards regarding performance, attendance, personal grooming standards, sanitation, food safety and quality. Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted Ability and experience working in a team environment Food production background desired but not required Must have your own vehicle to get to and from work Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation required Ability to work 8-12hour shifts with weekends required about every other weekend (schedule below) Details This facility runs 24/7. Shifts are 8-12 hours long, depending on the position. Day Shift available Night Shift available Weekly pay, every Friday for last week's hours Application Instructions All applicants must interview at our Payette facility for consideration.
