Pay Rate:

Family, Transparency, Authenticity, and Quality. Position Overview Food Production Associates play a key role in the day-to-day manufacturing of Fit Butters products. Production Associates will be directly measuring and handling raw ingredients, operating equipment, production line assembly, production area/equipment sanitation, and other duties as assigned. Production Associates will also be directly responsible for ensuring food safety and quality of the product. The working environment is fast paced, hands-on, and requires strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Handling Raw Ingredients Ensure the accurate and efficient measurement of nuts, oil, protein powder, and inclusions. Operating Production Equipment Safety and efficiently operates production equipment such as grinders, mixers, and pumps. Minor troubleshooting when equipment fails may be required. Production Line Assembly Work on the assembly line topping jars with inclusions, packing jars, and labeling and palletizing cases for shipment. Production Area/Equipment Sanitation Follow and maintain daily sanitation practices Follow cleaning/sanitation procedures when changing allergens, which may require disassembly and reassembly of production equipment. Support Fit Butters employee safety, food safety, and quality policies, as well as efficiency standards. Follow GMP standards, such as PPE, handwashing/glove changing, and dress code requirements. Follow Fit Butters quality standards, such as ensuring all jars are correctly sealed and labeled. Follow Fit Butters current efficiency standards. Assembly Line Work Perform multiple functions along the production line, including: Adding toppings to jars Capping and sealing jars Packing jars into cases Palletizing finished goods for shipment

Quality Control:

Monitor product quality throughout the production process to ensure consistency and adherence to Fit Butters standards.

Basic Computer Skills:

Utilize basic computer systems for tracking batches, inventory, or other production-related data. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience in food handling, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is a plus but not required Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities as production needs evolve Required to speak fluently in english for effective communication Work Environment Fast-paced food production environment Exposure to varying temperatures and food ingredients Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, hairnets, and other sanitary gear Compensation & Growth Opportunities This position starts as a part-time role with consistent hours (~30 per week) and offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as Fit Butters moves into its new production facility in Brooklyn Center.
