The Dining Associate is a key position within University Dining Services. As a Dining Service Associate, you will perform tasks in multiple areas/functions within the Dining Center, such as: Perform kitchen duties; including ingredient and food preparation, inventory, cooking and assembling recipes. Set up and tear down stations Dish machine operations. Build recipes based on established processes, procedures, guidelines, and recipes. Monitor food quality, food presentation, and control food waste. Assist within other areas as needed and other duties assigned. This position is considered essential and may have weekend or evening shifts. High school or equivalent experience One year of experience in a work environment. Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary. Ability to communicate essential. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required. Food Handler's permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test.
