Masis Staffing Solutions is looking for a Sanitation Associate for a manufacturing bakery in Manchester, NH. The Sanitation Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the processing equipment and facility. Essential Functions •
Sanitation:
Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring all equipment is cleaned according to specific procedures for each area. Position works in a fast paced environment, doing repetitive work. Cleaning and maintaining the interior of the plant, including but not limited to: floors, walls, ceilings, overhead pipes and fixtures. •
Chemical Management:
Handling and preparing cleaning chemicals, preparing sanitizers, preparing chemical concentrations, handling and storing the chemicals. •
Safety Compliance:
Understand and adhere to all safety rules and procedures. Competencies •
Knowledge:
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), basic allergen handling, wash-down procedures, food defense, and HACCP principles. •
Skills:
Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, effective communication in English. •
Abilities:
Operating material handling equipment, including electric pallet jacks and manual hand jack. Work Environment •
Temperature:
Standard bakery environment, with temperature variations. •
Noise Level:
Moderate to high noise levels. •
Conditions:
Wet, fast paced, Indoor setting with potential exposure to cleaning chemicals. Physical Demands •
Movement:
Prolonged standing and walking on concrete floors. •
Actions:
Frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and twisting. •
PPE:
Must wear personal protective equipment (hair net, beard net, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform). Required Education & Experience •
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. •
Experience:
Must be willing and able to work varying shifts and schedules Preferred Education & Experience •
Training:
Trained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), allergen handling, wash-down procedures, food defense, and HACCP.
