Brewer's Support

• We are Chandler Street Breweries. 2 of Buffalo's longest established craft brands joined forces in 2023 and we're looking to add to our team at our production facility in the Black Rock neighborhood of Buffalo, NY. What's the job
• As a brewer support staff your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Keg cleaning and keg washer maintenance Assisting on the packaging line, be it canning or kegging beer Warehouse tasks including; Assembling wholesale orders Working with our operations manager to maintain a clean and organized finished goods inventory Receiving and organizing orders such as packaging materials, grain, hops, etc Working with the entire team to maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment Outside of the specific aforementioned responsibilities the brewers support staff will have the opportunity to work and/or attend industry events, conferences, continuing education and the like.

Working conditions

• As with all breweries employees must be able to: Regularly lift 44# hop boxes, 55# grain bags and be able to move half kegs. Regular squatting, stooping, pulling, picking and general movement around the brewery Able to work in cold (cooler), hot (brewhouse) and wet conditions Follow safety protocol when using chemicals and heavy equipment Employee Qualifications
• As this is an entry level position prior brewery experience is not required, however a passion for craft beer is.

Minimally prospective employees must:

Be 18 years of age or older Able to legally work in the United States Fluent in English Strong written and verbal communication skills Have reliable transportation (yes this includes a bike and/or bus pass) High school diploma, GED or equivalent Be safety oriented While not required, candidates with experience in beverage production and/or manufacturing will help in consideration: 1-3 years experience in a packaging craft brewery (meaning canned or bottled product) Valid forklift certification Delivery experience This position is a full time, hourly position.

Compensation is:
