The facility is transitioning from a fluid dairy plant to a culture plant producing cottage cheese, sour cream and yogurt. Hourly Rate:

$27.50-$28.50

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a Safety conscious environment. Challenge status quo Safety behaviors, engage in Safety initiatives and attend all Safety related training. Drive for and ensure work product remain in or exceed the standards and specifications established by Quality Assurance and Compliance. Initiate and drive continuous improvement within the department, operations, and other areas of the facility as part of the team to ensure plant sustainability. Engage and support a team environment within the department and across the facility. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety policies and other policies as outlined by the Company. Production Operator will ensure proper specification on product Track downtime downstream of filler and other applicable downtime equipment with the area, Perform required weight and code checks at correct intervals. Clean machine regularly during production, maintain floor cleanliness and complete all required Master Sanitation Schedule items daily, Pass on information to incoming shift Other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED preferred Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal Effective verbal and written communications skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high Must be able to work in a wet environment Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
