Job Description

We are hiring a full-time Taproom Manager to oversee onsite retail operations and coordination of events at the brewery. We are seeking a person that is self-motivated, trustworthy, hardworking, flexible, detail oriented, and comfortable taking initiative. The right candidate possesses a positive upbeat attitude, a desire to make every day better, and the ability to communicate professionally to both customers and staff. Because of the high level of customer interaction, the Taproom Manager will first, and foremost, be an ambassador for our brewery and our culture. This position will include four scheduled serving shifts weekly plus structured operational/office hours. Total weekly hours will vary depending on time of year, administrative workload, special events, and Taproom coverage needs.

The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Provide exceptional customer service and experience for Taproom customersManage and motivate staff during day-to-day operationsCreate and manage staff schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage and balanced workloadsTrain staff in all Wander Brewing policies and proceduresAssist with planning and coordinating Taproom eventsAssist with graphic design for Taproom eventsProvide recommendations/ideas/improvements for customer service, operations, events, and physical spaceMaintain relationships with food truck partnersAddress employee and customer concerns in a timely, professional, and caring mannerMaintain Point of Sales systemManage inventory and ordering of all Taproom suppliesOrganize and maintain inventory of Wander Brewing merchandiseOversee cleanliness and maintenance of the TaproomEncourage staff development by working with the production team on beer educationMaintain procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy workspaceEnsure that both customers and employees feel welcome in our space by nurturing a positive working environment
Qualifications:
Available to work full-time (34-40 hours/week) with night and weekend availability required.2 years of service industry management experienceTeam oriented, flexible, and can work independentlyStrong decision-making ability and sense of responsibilityPositive attitude and ability to communicate clearly, with professionalism and enthusiasmInterest in the craft beer industryAttention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. The ability to think on your feet, learn, and adapt is key.

Compensation:
