Position Overview Join our team at The Alps as a Food Production Worker. We are located just 5 minutes from downtown Leavenworth on HWY 2. The Food Production Worker plays a key role in supporting daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that food products are prepared, processed, and packaged according to company standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and sanitation protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Operate food production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently Assist with food preparation, processing, and assembly tasks Follow established recipes, formulas, and production guidelines Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety standards Perform packaging, labeling, and sealing of finished products Conduct routine quality checks to ensure product consistency and compliance Accurately measure, weigh, and record ingredients or finished goods Support inventory management by tracking materials and reporting shortages Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals Additional Responsibilities Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing Receive, verify contents and stock incoming shipments Assist in retail store and help customers Qualifications Strong background in food production, manufacturing, or food processing Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations, including proper handling, storage, and cleaning procedures Experience with packaging processes, including operation of packaging equipment and adherence to labeling requirements Proficient in basic math skills relevant to food industry operations (weights, measurements, batch calculations, etc.) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment Must be able to lift 60lbs Certification
