Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic food manufacturing team as a 2nd Shift Food Product Grinder! In this energetic role, you will be a vital part of the production process, transforming raw ingredients into high-quality food products. Your focus will be on operating grinding machinery, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting where your skills directly contribute to delivering exceptional food products to our customers. Responsibilities Operate and monitor grinding machines and material handling equipment to process food ingredients efficiently and safely Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and other regulatory standards Conduct sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas regularly to maintain high food safety standards Assist with manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and precise knife skills for ingredient preparation Perform mechanical troubleshooting on machinery to identify issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during shifts Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality checks, and safety inspections Requirements Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or kitchen environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety management systems such as HACCP, GMP, and sanitation procedures Ability to operate material handling equipment like forklifts and understand basic math for measurements and recipe adjustments Mechanical knowledge or troubleshooting skills related to industrial machinery preferred Comfortable with manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and knife skills for ingredient processing Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to regulatory/legal compliance standards in food manufacturing Ability to work effectively on the 2nd shift schedule in a lively, team-focused environment Join us in creating safe, high-quality food products while enjoying a supportive workplace that values your growth. Pay:
From $17.60 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
