The Player Development Manager is responsible for execution of the relationship marketing strategy, primarily through outreach, acquisition, development, and retention efforts for diverse markets; including daily oversight of the Host team and in partnership with Marketing Department leadership. Manages Player Development Team initiatives by developing programs geared toward VIP guests and establishing the processes and metrics used to measure their effectiveness. Leads the staffing, training, development, scheduling, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of the Casino Host team, including programs designed to attract and retain VIP guests. Assigns recurring and event-related communication responsibilities to the Casino Host team. Assists with sales and guest service needs across the property. Serves as an ambassador for Sky River Casino within the community. Communicates post-event attendance analysis, host book updates, performance progress, and other requested reports to the Marketing leadership team. Collaborates with Promotions, Special Events, Entertainment, and external sports and entertainment partners to plan and execute VIP events and experiences. Coordinates VIP guest services, including ticket distribution, reservations, arrival arrangements, off-site accommodations, and other personalized guest experiences. Responsible for the creation, tracking, and issuance of the Host Incentive Program. Manages the Player Development coding process. Attends off-property events to ensure flawless execution and superior guest service. Responsible for achieving and maintaining both net and gross profit margin objectives for the VIP Program. Handles difficult guest situations in a calm, timely, and professional manner. Develops, communicates, and enforces all property and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, hospitality management, business administration or related major; or equivalent experience preferred. 6 years of in casino marketing, with 4 years of progressive supervisory/managerial responsibilities required. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in casino marketing and player development. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Previous casino operations, marketing, management, hotel experience.
