THE JOB:
Lead the action at one of the Gulf Coast's premier sports betting destinations as the Senior Manager at BetMGM Sportsbook at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Race & Sportsbook while driving operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and an elevated guest experience. From leading a high-performing team to implementing innovative strategies that enhance the business, you will create an engaging environment where guests enjoy exceptional service and unforgettable game-day experiences.THE DAY-TO-DAY
Foster a welcoming, energetic atmosphere that delivers exceptional guest service and an outstanding sportsbook experience Approve high-limit transactions and issue complimentary amenities in accordance with established guidelines Manage departmental budgets, labor, and operating expenses to achieve financial and operational goals Analyze business metrics, identify trends, prepare forecasts, and provide operational insights to senior leadership Resolve guest concerns professionally while building strong relationships with guests and delivering personalized service Monitor gaming activity and promptly report suspicious transactions or unusual activity in accordance with regulatory requirements Partner with leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives, new products, technology enhancements, and guest service improvements Represent the department during media appearances, public relations events, and promotional activities as needed Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, recognition, disciplinary actions, and succession planning Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and operational standardsTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Holds a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience Demonstrates 2+ years of Race & Sportsbook experience Possesses a strong understanding of sportsbook operations, gaming regulations, and Title 31 compliance Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume gaming environment where priorities shift quicklyTHE PERKS & BENEFITS
