Job Description

SALARY RANGE
$20.00 - 25.40
HOURLY/DOE SUMMARY:
To oversee and have total responsibility for the management and operations of the casino Gaming Department during his/her shift. To assist the Gaming Manager in the overall efficient and profitable operation of the Gaming Department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the profitable operation of the shift including adequate staffing, appropriate discipline in accordance with Enterprise policy, and motivation of staff. Responsible for the maintenance of all gaming laws, internal controls, policies, and procedures of Enterprise. Responsible for the safe and accurate control of funds assigned to and derived from the casino operation. Accountable for the proper functioning of equipment and must take corrective action where necessary to minimize downtime, and for proper dealing standards. Supervise game prize verifications and payouts using established procedures. Identify regular and VIP guests and extend recognition and goodwill to them. Handle disputes and complaints which are brought to his/her attention in a diplomatic, professional, and timely manner. Be RBS certified and practice this knowledge daily. Work closely with Surveillance and Security to ensure the safety and financial welfare of the Enterprise. Will be responsible for helping resolve guest questions and issues regarding sports betting. As well as handling all customer disputes. Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately. Other duties as assigned.
PREREQUISITES
Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Key gaming license.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree preferred. Technical training in Slots and/or Table Games required. Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional, supervisory position within a casino environment. Responsible for human and material resources requiring sound decision making. Must possess a minimum of 3 years overall gaming experience. Must be computer literate.
PHYSICAL
Cannot be color blind. Position requires bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, finger dexterity, grasping, and repetitive motions.
