Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities This position requires weekend availability. Provide outstanding food and beverage service to golfers on the course, ensuring quality standards and a positive guest experience. Ensure the beverage cart is fully stocked, clean, and well-maintained to uphold club presentation and sanitation standards. Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, following proper procedures. Check IDs and adhere to all alcohol service regulations, health and safety standards, and legal requirements. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, enhancing their overall golf experience. Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management. Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Work efficiently and independently while maintaining pace-of-play awareness. Ensure compliance with income, cost control, and inventory procedures. Report any beverage cart malfunctions to the supervisor. Submit all required reports efficiently and on time. Perform other duties as assigned. Education/Qualifications/Certifications Must be at least 19 years old. Must obtain and maintain a valid City and State Alcohol permit. Must obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler Permit. Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to analyze and solve problems, efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision. Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations. Position Physical Requirements Must have the ability to: Read and write (English). Communicate verbally with staff members and customers with or without the use of two-way radios. Give and follow verbal and written instructions. Visually inspect all work areas. Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time. Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages. Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly. Working Conditions Work hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends, as well as holidays. Work primarily outdoors on the golf course in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain. May be exposed to inclement weather, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, moving equipment hazards, and misdirected golf balls. Injury may result if safety policies and practices are not properly followed at all times. Machine/Equipment/Tools Used Beverage Cart
  • Operate a motorized beverage cart safely on the golf course. Point of Sale (POS) System
  • Process transactions using a mobile POS system for cash and credit card payments. Coolers & Ice Chests
  • Maintain proper storage for beverages and perishable items. Handheld Inventory Scanner
  • Track and manage beverage and snack inventory (if applicable). Two-Way Radio
  • Communicate with clubhouse staff, golf shop, and management as needed. Cleaning Supplies
  • Use sanitizing wipes, disinfectant spray, and towels to maintain a clean and organized cart.
