Light Show Attendant is responsible for assisting with the operation of a seasonal light show during evening hours and often outside.

Pay Rate:

$ 14.75 per hour Major Duties/Specific Tasks Assists with show operations by collecting fees, operating cash registers, issuing receipts, selling merchandise, and maintaining stock of supplies. Assists with customer service by greeting park visitors, handling inquiries, providing information and assistance, and informing patrons of rules and regulations. Attends and participates in staff trainings. Reports unsafe conditions to Manager on Duty. Carries out additional duties as assigned by the Park Management or Supervisor on Duty. Minimum Qualifications Must be age 16 or over. Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public. Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash accurately. Ability to learn the operation of the show and to obtain a working knowledge of NOVA Parks. Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. Ability to perform a variety of duties including custodial tasks. Availability to work a variable work schedule, which includes evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
