Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Provides exceptional guest service. Performs basic player terminal & machine service, and limited machine maintenance including Sports Wagering kiosks.

N/A DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Initiates, verifies, and oversees jackpot payouts for designated amounts. Assists guests in completion of W-2G tax forms when pays exceed amounts designated by the IRS. Repairs ticket acceptor and ticket printer jams. Replaces low printer paper, as needed. Notifies slot technician in the case of non-functional gaming devices. Completes entries on Machine Entry Activity Log (MEAL). Participates in the payment of jackpots Circulates through assigned area and monitors guests and machines to detect problems. Investigates player complaints, machine malfunctions, or irregularities. Refers such matters to the supervisor on duty. Provides outstanding customer service by demonstrating respect, patience, and attentiveness in all interactions. Complies with established policies and procedures in addition to tribal, state, federal, and NIGC laws and regulations. Helps maintain cleanliness of gaming floor in assigned area. Keeps slot area clean and free of debris Performs all other assigned duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Class III gaming licenses from the Nooksack Gaming Commission and the Washington State Gambling Commission. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
Preferred:
Previous casino experience. Previous slot department experience. Cash handling and customer service experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
May work in a noisy, crowded, and smoke-filled environment. Will be monitored by surveillance cameras.
MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, INCLUDING NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position involves walking or moving to complete tasks, with occasional periods of standing or sitting. Must be able to lift, move, and push items weighing up to 25 lbs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations and internal controls. Knowledge of Title 31 compliance procedures. Provides outstanding customer service. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving abilities. Demonstrates the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization. Effectively communicates important instructions in a clear and timely manner.
