The Tin Top Restaurant & Oyster Bar is immediately hiring experienced Host/Hostess. Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience and be able to handle high volume and a fast pace. We have built a new building on the Bon Secour River a few years ago and want you to grow with us! We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner plus Brunch on Sundays. Weekends required.

Host/Hostess Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
• Provide menus
• Manage the waiting list
• Ensure the dining area is clean and organized
• Assist with setting up tables and maintaining table settings
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return

Skills:

• Experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in seating assignments
