Job Description
VIP Host / Nightlife Host - The Plaza The Plaza is an upscale entertainment and nightlife destination in Downtown Bentonville. We are looking for outgoing, polished, energetic individuals to join our team as VIP Hosts. This is not a traditional restaurant host position. Our Hosts are a major part of the guest experience and help create the energy and atmosphere of The Plaza. You will welcome guests, assist with seating and VIP areas, promote bottle service, interact with guests throughout the evening, and help make sure everyone receives a high level of hospitality. What You'll Be Doing Greet guests as they arrive and create a welcoming first impression Assist with guest check-in, seating, reservations, and VIP sections Escort guests to tables and VIP areas Help manage guest flow throughout the venue Promote VIP tables and bottle service Build relationships with guests and encourage repeat visits Assist guests interested in upgrading to VIP or bottle service Communicate VIP and bottle orders with bartenders and management Check on VIP guests throughout the evening Help maintain clean, organized, and presentation-ready VIP areas Communicate professionally with security, bartenders, servers, DJs, and management Help create an energetic, upscale nightlife atmosphere Represent The Plaza professionally both inside and outside the venue Compensation $11.00 per hour 10% commission on bottles sold for VIP service Opportunity to earn additional income by actively generating VIP and bottle-service sales This position is ideal for someone who is social, confident, sales-oriented, and comfortable approaching and interacting with new people. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Outgoing and personable Confident speaking with guests Comfortable in a busy nightlife environment Professional and well-presented Dependable and punctual Sales-oriented and motivated Able to work well as part of a team Comfortable promoting VIP experiences and bottle service Able to remain professional in a high-energy environment Appearance & Professionalism The Plaza is an upscale venue, and Hosts are expected to maintain a polished, professional appearance while on shift. Employees must follow The Plaza's dress, grooming, conduct, confidentiality, and workplace policies. Schedule This is primarily a nightlife position. Applicants should have availability for evening and late-night shifts, particularly Fridays and Saturdays. Location The Plaza 128 W. Central Ave.
