About This Job Position:

Host — George's Breakfast and Brunch (Chandler) Join George's Breakfast and Brunch as a part-time, entry-level Host at our Chandler location. This is an onsite, guest-facing role where you'll be the first and last friendly impression for customers visiting for our made-to-order breakfast and brunch classics. You'll thrive in a fast-paced morning environment, welcoming guests, managing the flow of the dining room, and helping create a warm, efficient experience that keeps customers coming back.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously as they arrive. Manage the waitlist and reservations, provide accurate wait-time estimates, and seat parties efficiently to maintain smooth service flow. Answer phone calls and assist with basic reservation and takeout inquiries. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to communicate table status and special requests. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entrance area. Assist with light bussing, roll-up of menus, and resetting of tables during peak periods. Represent the brand with a positive, team-oriented attitude and handle guest concerns with professionalism or escalate when necessary.

Requirements Required Qualifications:

Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills. Reliable punctuality and ability to work early morning and weekend shifts typical for breakfast/brunch service. Basic phone etiquette and ability to manage a simple reservation or waitlist system. Ability to stand for extended periods and move between front-of-house areas quickly. Legal authorization to work and willingness to complete on-the-job training.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous host, receptionist, or customer-service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Familiarity with POS systems and reservation apps (OpenTable, Yelp, or similar). Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Positive attitude and interest in long-term growth within a fast-casual restaurant team.
